Do Christians Immediately Go To Heaven After Death? Millions of them Believe They do! What About You?

I would venture to say that 95% of those who call themselves Christians believe that Heaven is their final destination. I can't understand why because the Bible never states nor claims that going to Heaven is our ultimate goal!
Unfortunately, through Sunday school, catechism and synagogue classes, we have been taught this doctrine that we go to Heaven when we die or when the Messiah returns back to earth. At most funeral ceremonies throughout the world, we see and hear sermons about our dear friends and relatives are now in Heaven looking down upon us, hanging out with angels as they wait for our own eventual trip to Paradise.
However, for those studious and devoted ones who trust the specificity of God's word (who do not add nor subtract one jot or tittle of God's Holy Word) know for a fact that Heaven is not our destination when we die. As a matter of fact, while we do enter the Kingdom of God, its eternal location is not heavenly, and scripture always confirms the obvious.
In our book, The End Times Passover, we devote a lengthy chapter 10 (Heavenly Minded) to this entire subject, broken down with tons of scripture to verify that we do not go to Heaven after death, nor upon the final return of Jesus Christ.
The End Times Passover was written in 1986 but was not published until 2006. The reason for this is our commitment to Bible accuracy as we spent twenty years going over and over the original manuscript to insure our scripture facts were clearly spelled out. Also (and interestingly enough) we read a book written by the highly esteemed Anglican bishop scholar and author, Nathaniel T. Wright, who published a book in 2003, Surprised By Hope , which confirmed the data we present in Chapter 10, almost word for word. Obviously we were delighted that our research was confirmed by one of the great Bible scholars of our time. Following are a few of the scripture groups that validate our claim that believers do not go to Heaven after death, nor anytime in their future.

...and scripture always confirms the obvious:

Hebrews 11:8-10 (NIV)
8 By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. 9 By faith he made his home in the Promised Land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. 10 For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.

Hebrews 13:11-14 (NIV)
11 The high priest carries the blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering, but the bodies are burned outside the camp. 12 And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood.13 Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore. 14 For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.

Revelation 21:1-4 (NIV)
21 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes, there will be no more death’] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

Revelation 21:22-27 (NIV)
22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. 24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it.25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. 26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. 27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Psalm 37:11 (KJV)
11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Matthew 5:5 (NIV)
5 Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.

Psalm 37:2(NIV)
The righteous will inherit the land
and dwell in it forever!

John 14:23-24 (NIV)23 Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. 24 Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

2 Corinthians 6:16 (NIV)
16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
“I will live with them
and walk among them,
and I will be their God,
and they will be my people.”

Revelation 7:13-17 (NIV)
13 Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?”
14 I answered, “Sir, you know.”
And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.15 Therefore, “they are before the throne of God
and serve him day and night in his temple;
and he who sits on the throne
will shelter them with his presence.
16 ‘Never again will they hunger;
never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat down on them,’
nor any scorching heat.
17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne
will be their shepherd;
‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’

Which Pre-Trib Rapture View? By Dave MacPherson

Which pretrib rapture view is correct? C. I. Scofield's? John Walvoord's? Hal Lindsey's? Someone else's?

Walvoord (and Dwight Pentecost) say that the ones "taken" in Matt. 24:40-41 are the wicked taken in judgment at the end of the tribulation while those "left" are left alive.

Lindsey disagrees with Walvoord and Pentecost and states that the ones "taken" are church members raptured before the tribulation while those "left" are the wicked who are left on earth to go through the tribulation.

Producers of the "Left Behind" movies also agree with Lindsey (and disagree with Walvoord and Pentecost) that a pretrib rapture takes away the church and that the ones left behind are the wicked.

Lindsey declares that John actually left the earth and went to heaven in Rev. 4:1. Walvoord and Scofield disagree with Lindsey and maintain that John's body stayed on Patmos and was never raptured away.

Lindsey sees the tribulation in chapters 4-19 in Revelation while Scofield sees it in chapters 11-18 and Henry Thiessen sees it in chapters 6-19.

Lindsey holds that Revelation's 24 elders represent the church while Harry Ironside says they represent Old Testament as well as New Testament saints.
Lindsey believes that Rev. 13's second beast will be a Jew. But Walvoord declares there's no evidence that either one of those beasts is Jewish.

Lindsey writes that Rev. 3:10 is proof of a pretrib rapture. Walvoord, however, writes that using Rev. 3:10 for this purpose is up for debate.

While pretribs have long seen prophetic significance in the Jewish feasts in Leviticus 23, there has been disagreement on which feast is symbolic of a pretrib rapture.

Scofield based his pretrib rapture on the feast of the firstfruits, No. 3.

Although Walvoord can't find anything in the Old Testament suggestive of a pretrib rapture, his 1966 book based a pretrib aspect of the first resurrection on feast No. 3.

Although Lindsey doesn't reveal which feast is the significant one, his pretrib rapture lies between feast No. 3 and feast No. 7.

Another pretrib date-setter, Edgar Whisenant, said in 1988 that the rapture would happen in 1988. His rapture was based on feast No. 5

A number of years ago David Webber proclaimed on his "Southwest Radio Church of the Air" broadcast that the Antichrist will be revealed to believers before they go up in the rapture. On the same day, however, broadcaster Oliver B. Greene stated on "The Gospel Hour" that the Antichrist will never be revealed to the church before the rapture!

My book "The Incredible Cover-up" has an entire chapter titled "A House Divided" which shows that pretribs have long disagreed with each other on practically every point and subpoint in their 19th century end time theory!
My many books and web articles focus on pretrib history.

Since what the Bible teaches is far more important than history, I am happy to recommend my good friend Joe Ortiz's monumental book "The End Times Passover" which gives readers "the exact meaning of certain words, to better understand exactly what God intended for us to know through His written Word.

In his well-researched book which took 20 years to write, Joe provides Bible evidence that proves that believers are "caught up" to have a meeting with Jesus Christ in the air, and then they escort Him back to earth (instead of going back up to Heaven), as Jesus begins His eternal reign on earth. If you are a Bible teacher, scholar and or pastor, this is a "must read" book."

What They Are Saying About ... THE RAPTURE PLOT!
Gary DeMar (President American Vision): "A majority of prophecy writers and speakers teach that the church will be raptured before a future tribulational period. But did you know that prior to about 1830 no such doctrine existed. No one in all of church history ever taught pretribulational rapture. Dave MacPherson does the work of a journalistic private investigator to uncover the truth....The Rapture Plot is the never-before-told true story of the plot - how plagiarism and subtle document changes created the 'mother of all revisionisms.' Lovett (President Personal Christianity): You don't read very much of Dave MacPherson's work before you realize he is a dedicated researcher. Because his work has been so honest and open his latest work The Rapture Plot has produced many red faces among some of the most recognized rapture writers of our time. When their work is compared to his it is embarrassing for them to see how shallow their research is." R. J. In The Rapture Plot MacPherson tells us of the strange tale of 'rapture' writings, revisions, cover-ups, alterations and confusions. SEPARATION OF RAUNCH AND STATE by Dave MacPherson

(It’s still legal – and always God-honoring – to air messages like the following)
        See Ezekiel3:18-19.

In light of government backing of raunchy behavior (such offenders were even executed in early America!), maybe the separation we really need is the “separation of raunch and state”!)
In Luke 17 in the New Testament, Jesus said that one of the big “signs” that will happen shortly before His return to earth as Judge will be a repeat of the “days of Lot” (click Genesis 19 for details).
So gays are actually helping to fulfill this same worldwide “sign” (and making the Bible even more believable!) and thus hurrying up the return of the Judge! They are accomplishing what many preachers haven’t accomplished!
Gays couldn’t have accomplished this by just coming out of closets into bedrooms. Instead, they invented new architecture – you know, closets opening on to Main Streets where little kids would be able to watch naked men having sex with each other at festivals in places like San Francisco (where their underground saint – San Andreas – may soon get a big jolt out of what’s going on over his head!).
Thanks, gays, for figuring out how to bring back our resurrected Savior even quicker!
If you would care to learn about the depraved human "pigpen" that regularly occurs in Nancy Pelosi's district in California, Google "Zombie time" and click on "Up Your Alley Fair" in the left column.
