Unregistered Baptist Fellowship Passes Resolution Concerning United States Governmental Policy and Israel

Click to read: Resolution to support Israel

These errant ministers passed a resolution (click above and read their resolution) in support of the State of Israel by taking scripture out of context, as many evangelicals do. They quote God's commitment, but they never quote His conditions. Read their resolution and the scriptures they quote, but fail to mention the following:

"You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the LORD your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed. 15 But just as every good promise of the LORD your God has come true, so the LORD will bring on you all the evil he has threatened, until he has destroyed you from this good land he has given you. 16 If you violate the covenant of the LORD your God, which he commanded you, and go and serve other gods and bow down to them, the LORD’s anger will burn against you, and you will quickly perish from the good land he has given you.” (Joshua 23:14-16).

It is obvious that the state of Israel does not recognize Jesus Christ as Messiah; its political and military journey these past 65 years (especially) definitely violate God's commands!

I just encountered your important blog with its information about that Baptist Fellowship passing a pro-Israel resolution. But what should we expect from such a dispensationalist outfit that "needs" such and so happening in Israel so that they (the Baptists) can see the realization of their escapist rapture?! Bro. Ortiz, I don't know whether to call your site a ministry or an up-to-date public service organization - so I'll just call it a public service ministry and thank the Lord for it and you! Thanks for keeping us alerted to what is going on. God bless.
