A Wife of Noble Character!

She is worth far more than rubies!

       In this day in age, finding the perfect wife or husband seems like an impossible task, especially when you look at a valueless society that is rampant with an unabashed " do your own thing" mindset.

     At the risk of being castigated as being "too old fashion" the standards of morality have declined ever so tremendously compared to even 50 or 60 years ago. I'm certain that the sins of adultery, lasciviousness (leading mostly to divorce) are on the increase as never before. We probably have more single mothers raising children on their own as never before.

     The numerous options single people have today (as compared to the 50's and 60's) are so great that today's youth have not only been exposed to the reigning culture that marriage (possibly the noblest institution ever ordained by God) is no big thing. Try it, and if it doesn't work, try again later. Many people today see being married more than once does not carry the social stigma it did a half a century ago. The images of domesticity portrayed in the movies and television hardly remind anyone of the good old days of " Ozzie and Harriet, Father Knows Best or the parents on the hit TV show, "Leave it to Beaver." In those days, folks only had TV sets (black and white ones), while today's kids have the Internet, of which pornography is its number one customer. Porno site (soft, medium and raging hot) are as accessible as a banana split at your local 31 Flavors Ice Cream stores.

     Most parents (some are knowledgeable of security controls) are not aware how accessible these sites are. Even scarier, some of the stuff on YouTube alone would shock a nun much less your twelve year old daughters, of whom many of them are posted on the Internet in the most scurrilous poses imaginable. People (mostly men who had to go to a liquor store to buy those racy magazines) can merely flip a switch and the whole ugly monster of porn lay at the tip of their mouse and keyboard. How do we know? Get real! Even those with security controls and or those wearing blinders are slapped in the face with these insidious images. Obviously the devil never rests!

     Where are today's concerned parents? Both are probably working at their jobs, barely earning enough to maintain a lifestyle that was promised to them when they were young kids themselves. No longer do we see those Norman Rockwell images of a mother with her apron on, showing her daughter how to make cookies, nor a father playing softball in the back yard with his son. Our sad world has not evolved nor morphed into a higher intellectual plain nor advanced to moral standard it used to boast; it has actually slid backwards. We can blame high tech to a great degree, but it has to do more with the slow, but steady and consistent denial that God is real and has always been available to invoke within all of us His righteousness. The Bible says that where sin abounds, grace abounds in greater measure. This is good because humanity is not advancing into a great moral society.

     Yet, one of the more consistent bastions of moral turpitude has always been realized (more so in past times) of a wife of noble character, one who (probably more than a man) was always at home, tending and raising her children to grow up with the values and wisdom to deal with the onslaught of idiosyncratic insanity that is best examplified on the "reality" shows that permeate the airwaves, those images of society's underbelly we would not have imagined even 10 years ago. The examples need not even be mentioned, all 7 or 8 year olds know about liposuction, beauty products, diets and the bachelor (bachelorette) shows, which our kids are taught to know how to be cunning and devious to achieve perfected beauty and gain a lover. And we thought we had hit bottom with shows like Jerry Springer and Maury Povich.

     But yet, one of our hopes is that a woman of noble character still walks this earth, one who can still be the anchor of her family, setting examples for both daughter and sons, instilling in them values (the best are still found in the Bible), to hopefully provide peace in the hearts of youth gone wild. Obviously, these domestic duties work best when both husband and wives fulfill their respective roles as defined by the Bible. But, for today, let us deal with the wife.

     The following description of such a woman can be found in Proverbs 31, a guideline for woman to emulate, one that worked back in the good old days, and much sorely needed more so, as the world turns!

 1 The sayings of King Lemuel—an oracle his mother taught him:

 2 "O my son, O son of my womb,
       O son of my vows,

 3 do not spend your strength on women,
       your vigor on those who ruin kings.

 4 "It is not for kings, O Lemuel—
       not for kings to drink wine,
       not for rulers to crave beer,

 5 lest they drink and forget what the law decrees,
       and deprive all the oppressed of their rights.

 6 Give beer to those who are perishing,
       wine to those who are in anguish;

 7 let them drink and forget their poverty
       and remember their misery no more.

 8 "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves,
       for the rights of all who are destitute.

 9 Speak up and judge fairly;
       defend the rights of the poor and needy."
       Epilogue: The Wife of Noble Character

 10 A wife of noble character who can find?
       She is worth far more than rubies.

 11 Her husband has full confidence in her
       and lacks nothing of value.

 12 She brings him good, not harm,
       all the days of her life.

 13 She selects wool and flax
       and works with eager hands.

 14 She is like the merchant ships,
       bringing her food from afar.

 15 She gets up while it is still dark;
       she provides food for her family
       and portions for her servant girls.

16 She considers a field and buys it;
       out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.

 17 She sets about her work vigorously;
       her arms are strong for her tasks.

 18 She sees that her trading is profitable,
       and her lamp does not go out at night.

 19 In her hand she holds the distaff
       and grasps the spindle with her fingers.

 20 She opens her arms to the poor
       and extends her hands to the needy.

 21 When it snows, she has no fear for her household;
       for all of them are clothed in scarlet.

 22 She makes coverings for her bed;
       she is clothed in fine linen and purple

 23 Her husband is respected at the city gate,
       where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.

 24 She makes linen garments and sells them,
       and supplies the merchants with sashes.

 25 She is clothed with strength and dignity;
       she can laugh at the days to come.

 26 She speaks with wisdom,
       and faithful instruction is on her tongue.

 27 She watches over the affairs of her household
       and does not eat the bread of idleness.

 28 Her children arise and call her blessed;
       her husband also, and he praises her:

 29 "Many women do noble things,
       but you surpass them all."

 30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
       but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

 31 Give her the reward she has earned,
       and let her works bring her praise at the city gate,
(
Proverbs 31:1-31).

     Many folks will respond and say that this person (at least in today's society) is too difficult a role to achieve, even if the wife was a 'stay-at-home-mother, and it's not realistic to expect this from a woman of the new century. True! But it's a great goal to shoot for!

God’s Formula For Success Has Been Available From the Beginning of Time

A Positive Future is in our hands if we trust God instead of politics gone wild!

     In reference to the heated debate between anti-immigrants and the people who seek work to feed their families, we have been pointing out that God is not pleased when people abuse the rights of aliens and the poor. The primary polemic by anti-immigrants is that aliens are breaking the law if they come into the United States without proper documentation. Theirs is a (supposedly) legal issue, which unfortunately is couched on inflated rhetoric, innuendo, spewed by hate and fear mongers that are being manipulated by certain media, elected officials and community groups who have a different agenda. Would you believe anarchy? Race Riots? Civil War?
     We believe that agenda is designed by money-changers in high places to fill their coffers at the expense of poor people. This is an historical agenda that has been the promulgated by the power elite almost from the beginning of history, which is primarily a goal launched and administered by demonic powers whose aim is to divide God's children from their creator. This over-generalization would require volumes to detail, an utterly impossible task on this blog.
     But yet, those of us who trust God and His word recognize this satanic ploy and also recognize the wisdom He has provided His children to fight the good fight by trusting His Holy Spirit gifts to discern that eternal scheme. Specifically, in regards to the heated immigration battle, the devil has designed it to ensue among and solely for those who depend on man's attempt to solve its own problems, primarily their vain idol called the "state." Those who idolize the state have been paired off primarily among political devotees who abide by either a liberal or conservative ideological belief system that have no meaningful identity whatsoever.The labels 'liberal' and 'conservative' can longer marginalize people in any static philosophy. They have become just that, identification tags designed to marginalize people into groups that connote images of historical communism and or nazism that have no bearing whatsoever in today's political dialogue. Those labels have been modified from liberals to progressives and conservatives to nationalists. But, basically, both are the same: People seeking power, based on greed, avarice and mendacity!
     Nevertheless, they have become two main groups who identify with either the Democratic or Republican parties, the two major political entities who compete with each other for the power to manage and control the state for their own personal gain. In practice, both groups basically function the same way, have the same goals, achieve them the same way, a convoluted process that requires more money to maintain more state power that eventually finds its way back into the coffers of the money-changer elites. The state is a basically one of the main tools of Satan (who blatantly claimed it when he took Christ to the mountain top) and showed him the Kingdoms he said are under his control (Matthew 4:7-8).
     While the Apostle Paul presents the caveat that God has allowed governments to be formed in order to maintain civility amongst the nations, and admonishes us that we are to obey the laws therein (Romans 13:1-7), one of the verses in this group of scriptures is verse (4), which states the magistrates in authority are "God's servant" for your good: But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God's servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer, (Matthew 4:4).
     We have no argument with the fact that rulers of nations have been given the authority by God to execute judgment against evildoers; obviously in recognition that while God wants all men to repent to Him and accept salvation, many individuals (under the influence, if not the complete control of satanic forces) do commit murder, rape, pillage and all sundry crimes against mankind.
     But yet, recognizing that governing bodies are established to be "God's servants," (agents to bring punishment on the wrongdoer), we believe that not only as American citizens do we have a responsibility to see they enact laws that are fair to its constituents, we believe it is a disciples' responsibility to rebuke those rulers when they enact unfair laws or abuse their power for personal gain as the prophet Nathan rebuked King David for his sin of murder and adultery with Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah, a servant of King David who was sent to the front lines of battle knowing that his death was certain, in order to keep Bathsheba to himself.
     No man or government is above God's laws, none! King David eventually paid a price for his pecadillos, by losing is first son at birth. God will not be mocked, whatever a man sows shall he reap. In this country, laws are already in place for murder, but obviously none (if any) are enforced for the crimes (in God's laws) of adultery. In those cases, God (as we can see in the book of (Malachi 3:5), enacts His own judgment for that particular crime (as former President Bill Clinton can attest), as well as the crimes committed that deprive aliens of justice:
     "So I will come near to you for judgment. I will be quick to testify against sorcerers, adulterers and perjurers, against those who defraud laborers of their wages, who oppress the widows and the fatherless, and deprive aliens of justice, but do not fear me," says the LORD Almighty.

     In another book
(James 2:6), God makes an astounding revelation to men that deals with a specific fear being experienced by many, which could very well be one of the main reasons for the rampant anti-immigrant imbroglio that has possessed a heretofore rational society. It seems that one of the main concerns we hear much of is that aliens are taking jobs that should go to American citizens, and that their presence in the U.S. is costing them many tax dollars for health, education and other services they accuse them of abusing. They claim aliens are living off the hard work of citizens, while they are losing jobs and cannot afford to pay their own bills. Obviously, those who are losing their jobs and see their private businesses go bankrupt due to the economic woes of these last 2 to 3 years, fear losing their homes, cars and other property, and being taken to domestic tribunals for restitution. And they dare to point the finger at aliens for their financial conditions:     But you have insulted the poor. Is it not the rich who are exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court?
      Rather than turning to God, these folks point fingers at others for a problem that could very well be solved if they trusted in God and did things His way. He tells them in another book that those who focus more on doing the right thing (which includes helping the poor, alien, widows, homeless and infirm), they will be rewarded. He pointedly sends that message in particular to Christians, those who claim they know God and who should know how God works:     He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and so all went well. Is that not what it means to know me?" declares the LORD, (Jeremiah 22:16)

     Take a look at and review over 250 verses of scripture we posted on our most recent The End Times Passover blog, which clearly show where God stands on the issues of the alien, poor, widows, orphans, infirm and the homeless. There can be no doubt whatsoever that God has a special place in His heart for these folks, and He is very adamant about what He will do to those who oppress this group of people. This should be a big concern for those who especially make claim they are Christians and that they know God. But, do they follow God's laws? Jesus said, "you shall know my children by their fruit and the fruit of the spirit love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, (Galatians 5:22).
     God has spoken clearly about those who claim they are good Christians but then turn around and do the opposite of what is required to solve their problems of concern. Obviously the immigration issue is one that has them worried and more concerned about their future (economic stability, social strata and political clout) than they are about God's precepts.
     God makes His will perfectly clear in the Book of Matthew. In chapter 7, He deals with six main issues (1) Judging others (2) failure to go directly to God to meet all their needs (3) that it is difficult to walk with God, and that fewer people will enter His kingdom than is expected (4) warnings about false prophets and how to recognize a true disciple of Christ (5) and lastly, the key to a successful journey with Christ. Here, God clearly states that it is not solely a case of hearing and studying the word of God, but the need to obey His word and put it into practice:

Judging Others
 1 "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
    3 "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in someone else's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from the other person's eye.
6 "Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.

Ask, Seek, Knock
7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; those who seek find; and to those who knock, the door will be opened.

9 "Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for these sums up the Law and the Prophets.

The Narrow and Wide Gates
13 "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life and only a few find it.

True and False Prophets
 15 "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

True and False Disciples
 21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only those who do the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?' 23 Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'
The Wise and Foolish Builders
24 "Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash." 28 When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, 29 because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law.
      Jesus does not tell His disciples in Chapter 7 what happens to those who fail to obey His word, but clearly states in John 15 that if a person is not bearing the fruit of the spirit (regardless of how powerful he or she may think they are) God can remove them from their ivory towers and take them away, and those that do bear fruit will be purged or pruned (of maladaptive idiosyncrasies) so they can bring forth more fruit: Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit, (John 15:2).
     In conclusion as one of the scriptures in support of aliens, God directly states that he or she should be treated equal in all ways. Given the opportunity, immigrants from other countries have risen to the occasion, they have demonstrated an innovative and pioneering spirit, that quality that America thrives on, when allowed to shine regardless of race, gender. Religion, cultural and language differences, Americans are not to be identified by these traits, but by the heart, character and soul that has shined above all nations for over two centuries!
     The community is to have the same rules for you and for the alien living among you; this is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. You and the alien shall be the same before the LORD, (Numbers 15:15)

     Well, no need to do a lot of researching here to know what God has to say about the alien and the poor; we have done most of the work for you. Today, we merely focused on a few of these, and supplemental scripture, that hopefully will provide a key to understanding better God’s will in your life, and what is expected of you in return.
     Merely log in to our recent posting on The End Times Passover blog, which contains over 250 scripture verses that specifically state that God loves and supports the alien and the poor, and also what He will do to those who oppress them, (John 15:2). Check it out here: The End Times Passover

Neither mankind nor its governments can enact nor create laws that will absolve God’s eternal law!

     Following are over 250 scripture verses that specifically state that God loves, supports and will protect the alien, poor, fatherless and widows.
    As the immigration debate continues, as we see more and more people calling for the blood of immigrants, spewing forth mean-spirited vitriol and diatribes, calling for local, state and the federal government to enact laws to extricate immigrants from the United States, we provide scripture that those actions against immigrants go contrary to the word of God. Many citizens who are sensitive to the immigrant's plight, offer various political suggestions as to how governments should handle the problem. This is greatly appreciated!
     However, there are many of us disciples of Christ who believe that God's word reigns supreme over government actions, and hereby declare that no government has the right to enact any laws that go contrary to God's will and the laws and precepts He has established from the beginning. We suggest that you read these verses and hopefully gain a greater understanding about the deep inner motivation that has inspired the hateful dialogue being conducted by faithless and misguided citizens who are being manipulated by media, elected officials and hate groups to attack God's other children, specifically the alien, the poor, widows, orphans, homeless and infirm.
     Some people may counter that these verses were meant solely for the nation of Israel during Old Testament days; however, throughout the word of God we find many verses that prove
that God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34) and that He does not waver, reconsider nor apply His laws and edicts to one group over another, proving that He (Christ) is the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever, (Hebrews 13:8); and most of all, while all things in life inevitably change, God remains the same:

  In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth,
       and the heavens are the work of your hands.
They will perish, but you remain;
       they will all wear out like a garment.
       Like clothing you will change them
       and they will be discarded.
But you remain the same,
       and your years will never end
!

(Psalms 102:24-27)

     Each and every verses specifically shows God's support for the poor, aliens, downtrodden, infirm and oppressed. While, some of these verses are highlighted in red, it is done solely for emphasis and they are not cited as being more important, other than they deeply resonate. We hope these will help you understand that this country is experiencing spiritual warfare, that most of its problems have never been solved through political expediency, and realizing that God is greater than any government administration ever installed, in any country, throughout history.
     Pray for this country to reach out to God, to provide solutions His way, rather than fanning the flames of this important debate, which could lead us into another war against our own neighbors, brothers and sisters. The pain from that war still lingers, and there was nothing civil about it!
