The so-called Index lists 45 or so "precursors," that is, world events that reportedly show how close a pretrib rapture is. (Never mind that his rapture is supposed to be a "signless" event and that he gets around this problem by calling his signs "precursors" LOL!) Todd asserts that these "precursors" are fulfilled before, and lead up to, an any-moment pretrib rapture, which is why they're called PREcursors. But guess what. All of them can (and will be) fulfilled AFTER the point in time for a pretrib rapture, are actually fulfilled DURING the tribulation, and in reality are precursors to ONLY the final second coming to earth! For example, one of his precursors is the "Antichrist" which, pretribs say, cannot appear or be known before their rapture! (Talk about putting the cart before the horse!) Pretribs may have an emotional (or other) reason to stretch the End forward in time - but they don't have a valid biblical reason to do so. I am glad that your great blog here follows the truth of the Word.
JohnAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29076482.post-12123165822906668462012-05-15T09:33:18.293-07:002012-05-15T09:33:18.293-07:00"You can lead a horse to water, but you can&#..."You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink," as the saying goes. In like manner you can lead a pretrib rapture teacher to facts, but you can't make him think! And your revealing article here about Todd Strandberg proves this. Evidently some teachers will have to learn some things the hard, screaming way. Too bad! Am grateful for your blog which does a good job keeping us posted. My thanks to you, Bro. Joe, for airing Bro. Dave's devastating historical discoveries which always include sources and pages. If a driver can always have a spare tire while trusting the Lord, I see no harm in believers have a "spare tire" rapture view while trusting the same Lord. May the Lord continue to bless you along with the biblical writers that are quoted on your exciting, timely, and vital web sites!
Bro. Jon EdwardsAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
